Honest to the man up there I have NO IDEA, he kept laughing at me like I'm retarded and he explained everything to me which I feel stupid that I ask him :(,I also told him I'm too scared to have sex he smiled at me and said he will wait until I'm ready and theres NO need for me to rush myself to it than he walked up to me lift my face up and kissed me on my forehead, eyes, nose, and my lips...my heart almost melt lol he said "your too cute" also he makes comments like deededeeee to me :( sometimes he laughed at me and said that I'm straight out from a box and that I don't know much about the world yet, I ask him one day why he calls me dededeeee he said I'm special to him which makes me feel like a complete retard,every time he makes comments like this he would walk up to me and hold my head against his chest. why do men act like this if they like a girl? Am I being used?

reader, anonymous, writes (7 July 2012): I don't think you are being used at all. This guy sounds really sweet. If you feel that the nickname he is using is putting you down let him know. The nickname may be his way of remembering you are not like every other women. If something is bothering you let him know. Making the person you care about feel like crap is the worst feeling ever. He may not see nor feel everything that you do. Every relationship is different. Just talk to him. If nothing gets solved than its not best to stay in a relationship when you feel undermined.

I understand your concern though, I was 24 and completely inexperienced with dating and men when I met first boyfriend. It is natural to be nervous and to be a little cautious, but from the sounds of it, he is interested in you and is not using you. Good Luck.
