Should the wife be informed? I really don't know what to think, maybe if it was anonymous so that the specific work mate wouldn't be dragged into the drama?I don't know..What do you think?

Usually a wife has her own gut feeling if her husband is cheating. The wife may already know it and is dealing with it in her own way. You may, by telling her, force her to do something she isn't ready to do. I'm a firm believer in minding my own beeswax until asked for info or advice.

If friends, tell for sure.
If aqaintance, try to become friends and then tell her.
Hope it helps,
