Would I be stealing him away?

Question - (14 December 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 December 2008)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My friend has a girlfriend who goes to a different school, but I have a crush on him. We've been going to the same school for five years and been friends for two or three. We sit really close together, and he always offers to share his iPod in study hall. He always looks me in the eyes, but it can be rather unnerving. I think he likes me, but I don't want to steal him away from his gf (foreign exchange student). What should I do?

A female reader, petina1 United Kingdom +, writes (15 December 2008):

petina1 agony auntAlls fair in love and war, they say. If you think he likes you too, ask him how he is getting on with his g/f. If it's a favourable answer then forget it, but if he's faultering in his remarks, then you know there is a gap for you to move on in there. No one knows anything for sure without questioning a situation, it's how we question that is the key. hope this helps.
