Would be cute to frame her written acceptance note, and give it to her as a valentine's gift?

A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

so i have a basic question about whether or not a valentine's idea is cute or not.

my gf and i have only been together officially for a few weeks now (been dating a couple months, but just made it official), and when i asked her to be with me, i wrote her a little note that said "will you be my gilfriend? check yes or no." lol. cheesy, i know, but she loved it and jumped up and down and squealed. it was super cute.

Anyway, she checked yes and gave it back to me. i wanted to hang on to it as a memory, but didn't know what to do with it, so it's just sitting in my drawer right now. so i was wondering if it would be cute to frame it and give it to her as a valentine's gift. or is that really lame and stupid?

i really won't be offended if it's really dumb. i want honesty. lol. please. thanks in advance. oh, and this is not the only thing i will get for her. i have a few other things planned.

Some girls would find it cheesy but your girlfriend obviously likes that kind of stuff so i would go for it.

I agree with everyone else. A few years from now, it would be cute, but right now it would be a lame gift. Quite childish. She would be much more impressed with something creative. Doesn't need to be expensive.

It's not lame at all, but it is maybe a bit quick. I would hang on to it until next year and if you are still together do it then. That way it will mean more because she will realise you have held on to it for ages.

R1 agony auntI wouldn't be that impressed with it, I'd be more impressed with the usual flowers etc. play it safe with the first valentines day to avoid disappointment!
