Hey! first time poster, I was wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on my situation... well honestly its not a big situation and the answer is probably really obvious! i guess that i am just a really worrier.

I recently went on a second date with a girl that I really like; i've known her for years but only recently i have had the balls to ask her out on a date. we had a perfect first date and the on the second date i worried that i messed things up, i didnt say or do anything that might have ruined my chances (or as far as i know) but i just had a feeling that i may have put her off some how, maybe it was body language i was picking up on or something im not sure.

we did kiss at the end of the date and then said our goodbyes. she then later text me to say that she had a lovely time. my question is this; am i being overly stupid with worry?

Honeypie agony auntI agree you are over-analyzing it. If she didn't have a GREAT second date I seriously doubt she would have texted you.

Could be other matter that made her a little distant - sick family member, a sick friend or the family parakeet.

llifton agony auntYes you are being overly stupid with worry lol. Take a breather. Clearly she likes you or she most likely wouldn't have let you kiss her and she most certainly wouldn't have sent you a text message stating what a good time she had. If she wasn't interested and if you'd blown it, she wouldn't have initiated any contact with you at all. :)

If she kissed you and text you then I wouldn't worry about it, she wouldn't have said anything if you had ruined it. Chill out and carry on as normal.
