All my friends think I have kissed a guy before because I had a boyfriend who I went out with for 6 months, so they just assumed that we had kissed. But we never did. In fact I broke up with him due to the fear of geting phsyically close to him. I was to scared that I decided to end it all despite how well he treated me and how much we cared for each other.I really really really want a bf but I'm too scared because then I know I will be expected to kiss. I dont know if I even WANT too. I guess I do want too but my fear of the unknown is freaking me out so much its putting me off it! I don't know what to do. I feel liek a loser because I have never kissed a guy. I'm afraid that when I do have my first kiss the guy will be able to tell of my lack of experience. I'm a pretty girl, I know that...but when it comes to guys, if one is interested in me I normally turn him down, once agai ndue to this fear. Even if it is a guy I really like back, I'm often to afraid to say yes because I don't wnat to put myself in a position of being uncomfortable (kissing).Help!!! What do I do?

 Hi It's scary the first time but when you've done it's so easy. If you aren't ready tell him and if he loves you then he won't care he'll wait. so either try it or don't. But don't force yourself thats the worst thing you can do because you will feel even more uncomfortable. Don't put off having a boyfriend because of this fear it's love with your heart thats more important. Hope this helps

All my mates think I have been kissed because I have had a lot of boyfriend. so i wouldn't worry about it so much cause the right guy will come along and he will be the right guy to have your first kiss with so dont worry about what your mates think. Trust me i know how you feel okay, so dont worry .

reader, anonymous, writes (18 June 2006): Everyone is scared to kiss for the first time. But it is really not as bad as you think. I was scared the first time too but I still did it. Just do it, go with the flow you don't have to have someone's tongue down your throat right away. Just start with the basics. Read magazine articles and practice on your hand. If there is too much slobber then you are doing something wrong :) You have nothing to be ashamed of I have friends who are 19 that have never been kissed.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 June 2006): sometime it can just be best if you go for it im 17 and i only kissed a girl for the first time about 4 months ago i had exactly the same problems as you.i know its a horible feeling but when youve done kissed a guy it will feel like you have doen it before. with the girl i first kissed i told her after she didnt even notice.maybe one of your guy friends will help you out if you tell them
