I'm 16 and I have my prom coming up... I'm going to it but I'm not looking forward to it as much as everyone else is. The reason is I don't really like any girls in our school because I really like a girl outside of school. So what can I look forward to? And will it still be a 'special' night without dancing with a girl i really care for.

last year i had a prom and my bf was on holiday with his mates, i was dreading going on my own being the one with out a date but sum of my mates didnt have dates either so it wasnt that bad, the prom was one of the greatest experiences of my life im so glad i went. you could always ask her to go to your prom, if she cant afford a ticket you could always offer to buy it for her or go halves. good luck and i hope you have a really good night

Phoebe Halliwell agony auntHi,

is there a reason you can't take this girl to the Prom? Has she got a boyfriend or is it just those annoying rules? If you care for her that much get an extra ticket and ask her! Make it special for her too. You'll just end up going home and wondering, "what If I had asked her..." etc etc etc.

If she says no, you know you tried. Go For It!

Hope this helped,

Phoebe
