We are planning to get married soon but I sometimes feel that the age difference is somehow big and it can affect our relationship because sometimes I do things and he sees them as childish since he has outgrown them. Will the age difference be a bother to us later. Please help.thanks Reply to this Question Share |

True love is what matters and you can't let age get in the way of that. If he thinks they are childish just tell him that you are younger and have different feelings, but if you love each other then you should not be bothered by age.

Most of us guys tend to be a long way behind you girls when it comes to maturity even if he makes out diferent. At your age its a large percentage difference, when you get to 40 it will be nothing. I'm 55,my wife is 6 years older than me and I never think about her being any older than me. It,s just us as a couple, we have never had any comments about our ages in 26 years together. Also my son 31 is engaged to a 22 year old. she is the most grown up of the pair! just enjoy your life, as long as you love each other the age difference is irellevant. Ian.
