Will my previous name be recorded on my marriage certificate. I am getting married in the UK. Only way to find out is to ask the registry office that you are due to be married at. Congratulations by the way :)

reader, anonymous, writes (16 March 2011): I think that when you change your name by deed poll, that is then your official name. I assume that you do not put down previous names. You could check online with the organisation who does the deed poll procedures.
