He asked me what I was doing today (Sunday), and I told him that I was working (I really was). Haven't gotten a response back from him yet. My question is, if he likes me he will attempt to make arrangements to see me again, right?

To him, it really doesn't look like you're interested.
He made an effort and has surely made others in the past week. He asked you on Friday and the next day you replied that it would be "ok". Then on Sunday you told him you were busy.
Hopefully, when you said you were busy you suggested another day otherwise he'll have a big question mark over his head. He might be wondering if you're really interested.
If you want him to wonder, just wait and see what he does.
If you're interested in him and don't want him to wonder, make it clear. If he suggests a day... "Sure", "Fine", and "OK" work, but "Yea, I'd be interested in going", "Yes, I'd like to see you again", or "That sounds great! (a little enthusiasm)" are better.
He might suggest another day but why leave it up in the air like that?
If you like this guy, you will attempt to make arrangements to see me again, right?
