A female reader, Honeypie United States +, writes (21 June 2013):

Honeypie agony auntUm, did you ASK who it was? Instead of assuming it was the friend?

If you didn't know the number it is 100% OK to ask, I don't recognize your number, WHO is this?

If it WAS his friend then I would assume that he (the guy you were talking to originally) isn't interested, or he is a 12 year old.

Did you actually ANSWER the guys questions?
