writes:I am very confused as to why my ex would be ringing and sending explicit pics to someone i was seeing for less than 2 weeks,this person now believes it is me who is doing these crazy weird things as everything he receives has my name attached,my ex has also tried to ruin my reputation by naming me on dating websites,forums etc,why would someone who ended things with you go to such lengths to make you look bad and cheap i have stopped all contact with my ex due to the level of distress and strain it has on me and my children are suffering as a result of his actions,how can he say that he ever loved me to be doing this he wanted me out of his life yet he still in mine why cant he just leave me alone as i have a new man in my life and if he gets a chance he will destroy this relationship as he has with my last one,surely this is a classic sign of OCD

reader, anonymous, writes (5 October 2010): Your ex is messed up, obviously. If he continues to talk badly about you in public and to others, you have a slander case against him and can sue him. Look into your options for hiring a lawyer immediately. You can also go to your local police department and report him for his behavior. The police might be able to do something about it, particularly if you and your children are suffering.
Definitely talk to your new man about this. If he honestly believes that you are behind all the crazy things your ex does in your name, then he isn't for you.
