I feed him twice a day (wet food) and dry food is always available. Whenever I walk into the kitchen he follows me, rubs against my legs and meows, jumps on the cooker etc.I don't know if he is looking for attention or just being bored. He has a lot of toys and even has another boy cat to play with. What could be wrong with him? Why does he always want food? Reply to this Question Share |

He could have worms. He could be bored or just simply have learned that when he does XYZ behavior, he gets fed.
Do you fed him regular meals or does he have a bowl of food to "graze" on during the day?
Cats in general don't go in their toy box, pick a toy and play, they WANT/EXPECT interaction from their humans "staff" (that being you) - so when you have the time and he seems attention seeking, play with him. And most of all don't feed him every time he begs or you will have an obese cat on your hands with all the medical difficulties that ensues.
You can also start to train him. Yes, you CAN train a cat. mine can retrieve (fetch), sit, give high five and they also do recall (come when called).
