I've always had really irregular periods, as in 2 or 3 months, never the same amount of time between them. anyway i started taking vitex tablets (supposed to help regulate periods) and tried them for about 3 months but didnt feel myself on them and had bouts of crying, which i never got before so stopped them. got my period and a month later got it again as usual. a month later got it and then 2 weeks later got it again. i had sexual intercourse once between the 2 close periods but we used protection.can vitex cause hormonal problems and are my hormones all out of wack to have caused 2 periods in one month? or what other causes can there be for 2 in one month? it wasnt a late first one either, it was on time just had a week then suddenly had period again whcih is very ABNORMAL for me!!

I don't know the product Vitex, but it is common that anything you take to regulate periods can make them irregular, short, long, light, heavy in the beginning til your body adapts.
Call your doctor and ask, to be sure that is it normal.
