reader, anonymous, writes (9 February 2011): Sounds like you need to give her the heave-ho. Nobody likes to be verbally assaulted, and it's certainly not doing you any good! For your own well-being and recovery, make plans to leave her. If this is too difficult right now (depression does this to people), enlist the help of a friend, family member or professional. It can be done. Good luck to you!

Granted, you love her but the question is;
do you love yourself enough. Enough to want and to have someone that is sensetive towards your feelings, does not demean you
and respects you?
Think about it... Your happiness is paramount. No matter what!
