Why does he avoid me?

Ok so the same guy who obviously likes me is avoiding me!I seen him sitting with his friends and we spoke.but later when I saw him he purposely went in the opposite direction of me.the thing is I no he likes me but keeps avoiding.like one day he'll walk me to class and then I won't see him for a while.I don't no what to do bcuz I like him and there are other guys wanting to take me out but I wanna c if we have sumthin.
