reader, anonymous, writes (12 December 2009): Sex is so exploited nowadays because of television, movies, the Internet, etc. so while your friends may enjoy having these flings, they will not get a relationship out of it. This is okay because maybe they're not ready for one. You sound more mature and it is perfectly normal to be less sexually adventurous than them. You just want it to mean more when you're with someone. Perfectly normal. Don't be afraid to stick up for your opinions and perhaps once your friends notice this, they'll begin to follow you. Either way, you're not "weird." Keep your head held high and just do what you think is right- and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
