writes:What reasons do guys have for wanting to get back with a girl they broke up with? I was with my bf for 8 yrs, then he left me, and I found out he'd been advertising on adult dating sites, sending explicit pics of himself to strangers and receiving flirtatious texts back, and 'messing around' with a girl from work. I was devastated. 6 months later, he said he decided that he wanted us to get back together, says nothing happened with the girl from work and that he can't imagine his life without me in it... So we've been back together for 8 months, but I'm just suspicious of his actions - why would he have left me if he loves me? Why would he suddenly decide he wants to be back with me? Is it just because he didn't meet anyone else? I'm still in love with him, but can't help feeling I might be second best... He tells me he loves me, but when he left he said he didn't - how can that change? I'd love to hear your experiences because I can't work it all out.
