writes:im a junior in high school, and i met this girl freshman year. we were friendly and then she asked me to go to prom with her this year. we started gettin closer with each other by hanging out often and constant texting each other. i told one of her friends that i liked her and that i was gunna ask her out soon. we went to prom and everything seemed fine till after the event. she just stopped talking to me and i dont know why. i tied talkin to her but now i just get basic responses. How can i get her to talk to me again?

reader, anonymous, writes (20 June 2008): i hate to say this man but she probably found someone else to like. she couldve saw a guy that she thought really looked good in a tux and she couldve said "drop the freshman and go for the hottie in the corner". i hate to say it so blunt, but thats just the way a lot of girls are, man. its not a personal hit with your name on it, its just how it goes. but then one day maybe if youre still in high school, you'll be the guy that some girls start talking to. overall, sh*t happens lol
hope i wasnt too harsh but you'd do very well if you'd take that advice and guard it with your life.
