hi, I have a really good friend. We always speak to each other and sit next to each other in classes. Just today she wont speak to me at all. I have no idea why but its worrying me. On instant messaging I asked her if I had upset her in some way and she just logged off.:( think I will call her tomorrow to see if she is ok.

Has anyone got any advice for me. I don't want to lose such a close friend.

hmm interesting. i've got a really close guy friend that i always sit by in American Studys and Science class and we had the same problem today. I would say she probably logged off because her mom or dad told her to get of the computer, and she had to log off quick, or she just decided to do something else, and didnt think about saying goodbye. Just give her some space before assuming something that may not be. And if it is still bothering you tomorrow, talk to her about it.

Laura1318 agony auntIt could be something you did or did not do which made her give you the silent treatment.

Wait a few more days until the weather changes, then she may want to tell you if you persist in this matter.

hmm this is tough, sometimes girls can just do this to a guy and not give any reason for it. sometimes it can mean that she has recently discovered that she has feelings for you and she could be embarrassed and avoiding the siutuation. another reason could simply be that is maybe dealing with something difficult and just needs time alone for a while. call her and see if she is ok and wats on her mind, assuring her that you are her friend and are there for her if anything is wrong. it could be nothing
