 He is going thru his adolescent and viewing life differently now from the sounds of it.. I'ts still his duty to look after his son, so that in itself he should be made to step up to but he may have tired of you, because of the age you both got together, he may feel he is missing out on things. When children are involved and the parents are young, and inexperienced they will suffer. So to avoid this talk to him and ask him what input he intends for the child, not yourself at this point, but you need support with the child. Maybe if he's given space to do this, he may try to patch up your relationship.
