Why can't I be open and trusting enough to tell my friends about my crush?

For some weird reason I am not able to talk to my friends about my crush. They don't know that I have a crush on this boy, but I think they are figuring it out. I can't even tell them about boys I find attractive like celebrities. They tell me everything, but I can't tell them. Why???
