reader, anonymous, writes (9 May 2009): it's true that often in relationships the passion and excitement can die off after a few months and things start to fizzle out sexually. this has always happened to me in the past. after 3-4 months it's just not exciting anymore and the sex is boring. however, that was until i met my current boyfriend. we have been together for a year and a half and it still feels exactly the same as it did in the first few months. i still get butterflies when i see him. we still have an exciting and passionate sex life. everything's great. i think this is because we have a deeper more intimate connection than i've ever had before. if you're truley compatable the passion wont die.
