writes: Ok my family is really abusive to me, my dad especially, he hits me, he chokes me, he insults me, my sister calls me pathetic, useless, worthless, retarted, she has kicked me down the stairs multiple times "and we have 13 of them... it's a long way down" and she hits me with those 3inch thick phone books, and my mom has came towards me with a fist a few times, and tells me to go in my room and stay in there forever cuz she never wants to see me in her life. so i try to do stuff like clean and cook for them and i ask them if they ever need anything like help around the house or if they want me to make them lunch or something, but it doesnt seem to help, they are still as mean to me... i was in therapy for two years and i told my therapist what my family does to me, but they never did anything about it... i cant put up with them much longer, and im not old enough to move out, what should i do? anyone? help? reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2010): This is a sad story and i know you might be scared but you need to tell someone who can help you. You could get seriously hurt in a lifestyle like that. I dont even know you and i want you to be safe. Dont be scared if your to tell the police then they will help and your parents and sister wont be able to hurt you. The other person has a good idea you should write it down. People will believe you if you tell them.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 July 2010): You should record a secret hidden diary and explain everything that has happened, how you have been abused and who by and include dates. It is strange that your sister is also like this towards you and your parents treat her differently than you? Definatly call a help line or the police. Don't be scared, they will help. Good luck.
