reader, anonymous, writes (4 December 2006): You're both still at school and are really much too young to be forming any serious relationships. Better at your age to get to know various boys casually - and I don't mean having sex with them! What I do mean is what's known as "playing the field."
He probably does like you, but is clearly uncomfortable when you bring up the subject of "me and him." That's why he cuts you off. Don't pressure him to talk about it, or he may choose to avoid you entirely.
So, don't have any more "relationship" talk on msn - or when you chat with him at school! Just talk about things you've done, like films you've seen, books you've read, etc.
