A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Be as honest as you like!! This guy who i saw on a night out, we're friends and both always had feelings for each other for so long. I just saw it as some fun and didn't see the harm in us flirting, being intimate by kissing, arms around each other, acting like we were together basically.

I'm young, it's just having fun and i've always wanted to kiss him and have him close to me, now that is out of my system, I'm over it. And we both knew that nothing would lead on from that.. So I was surprised when he told me he wants to give it a try cause he really likes me and felt something when we kissed, which i didn't? I didn't say anything back.

But it's been a week and I'm starting to see someone now, so I'm just wondering how his big group of friends will view me!? I mean I'm friends with them too. But since a few of his friends used to also like me and i've apparently led both of them on before? (I don't know how, since i've never done anything with them not even kissed them!?) ....

I'm worried that they will all hear I'm seeing someone so soon after getting with that guy and think I'm heartless or just move on easily and lead guys on...... What would you guys think of me if you were in his or any of his friends situation?

Yes, just tell the truth. And if they get upset they need to just get over it because things like this happen all the time. Go with what your heart wants, don't over-think what other people will think of you.

Eventually the news will die down and no one will be affected by it. I been friends with girls who move on from a guy way quicker than that.

Haha, I've actually been in your position in high school :') It's the burden of being friends mostly with lads. Tell the truth, its better than making something up cause then that would just eat at you and plus, its really hard to keep up with lies!

Hope this helps xxx
