It took me a while to indentify who i was inside. Many people will just accept it but some nutters may take the mick outta you. This happened to me so don't worri, just ignore them. If you are happy wiv yourself there is no problem. Accept yourself and people will follow in your footsteps,

Lastly if you feel secure enough to start telling people, tell a close friend or your parents, and work from their.
in my experiance, most people i have told has been supportive or just taken some time to come to terms with it. and if they dont like it then tell them to get lost, you have better friends than them.

I don't know much about Ireland and how your country or your neighbors and your family and friends think of you if you are homosexual.
This question would yield an inaccurate response because it all depends on the individual whom you reveal this information to. For me, I am indifferent towards hetero, bi's and homosexuals. It has nothing to do with me, and they are a part of every day life, just as cows are to the field, racoons are to my back yard, rocks are to the river bed, and my mom being my mom.
Some people would reject you. Some religious people would call you a devil's heathen. Others would refer to you as a sick manifestation of god - whatever religious god they refer to. However, there are some who wouldn't care. Others who would totally and utterly try to have sex with you - possibly gays and bi's and straights? Some who would just be whatever. A question like this usually expects too broad of an answer.
