Or something where he can 'instruct' you; i.e. putt putt, batting cages, fishing, driving range. Guys like to feel manly and they appreciate when their girl takes an interest in their hobbies. But I wouldn't get him too much, it's only been 6 months. Spending time with him will definitely show you appreciate him.
