if your going to go on the pill make sure you stick to it [same time every day]. there can be side effects [weight gain sometimes feeling ill for a couple of days that kinda thing], normally these only come on when you've taken them incorrectly or if your ill.
and when asking for them, if you explain your circumstances they should let you, they may ask for details such as when your last period was and your height and weight and age

There are many many side effects for using the pill infact theres a list in the packet but its just to warn you i have never had any problems with it but there are many diffrent types so if one isnt right try another one, and as for getting it you can just ask your doctor they usually give you 3months supply then you go back to get you bp checked and if your happy you will get 6 months worth
