What is this cheesy off white fluid? Eugh!

The first day of my last period was Dec 16th 2009 and my period usually last about 4-5 days and then off it goes. And usually on the 28 or 30 day after it comes again and it's now jan 20th 2010 and my period is still not here. and i keep having these watery discharge along with cheesy off white fluid what the heck does all this mean. should i take a test and when is the best time to do it? Could i be preganacy or am i jumping the gun...
