No worries! I didn't get my first kiss till I was 21. I was also surprised to find the older I got, that there were a lot of people in my similar circumstances. Also don't worry about being awful at your first kiss, because EVERYONE is awful when they get their first kiss. If this guy asks you out and you feel comfortable enough telling him that you haven't been kissed, then he'll be prepared and chances are more inclined to "show you the ropes". Plus you only get better with practice...that's the fun part! haha. I didn't want to kiss just any guy I wanted it to be with someone that I genuinely cared for. When it happened it was uncomfortable, awkward, but amazing. hahaha, it turned into a 30 minute make out session! haha. Good luck and stop stressing out about it. It'll happen when it is suppose to. Don't feel pressured to do something either just because your friends or peers are doing stuff like this already. It's better when it's with someone you really care for...in all regards (intimacy wise)

reader, anonymous, writes (24 May 2008): Well, don't be embarrassed. My first kiss was at 17! You can't expect to be a fantastic kisser first time, and the odds are he's worried too! To be honest, it might not be pleasant at all, but if you continue to kiss each other you'll get a feel of how each other kisses and it'll feel more natural as you become more comfortable with each other.In other words, practice makes perfect!
