A female Canada age 36-40, *ubblygirl writes:

I just told my friend her boyfriend cheated on her. She was shocked, as I expected, and told me she could never be with someone she can't trust but she was also in denial, as I also expected. However, when I went to ask her later how she was, the response I got was:

"I'm putting it behind me and moving on"

What does this mean? Did she break up with him?

I'm scared to ask because I would sound rude. What do you think?

It means that she is getting on with her life, and not worrying about what happened with her boyfriend.
