She proceeds to give a compliment like "your hair is hot." So, instead of trying to 'agree' with her, I used reverse psychology, and said "I'll cut it off" she responded with a "oh you will?" (in a "no don't do it" kind of tone)I maintained eye contact with her for a bit here and there...I didn't want to say anything about it because there were a few people around us - my lap had a bulge and it's not my cellphone or wallet.I like her, but I don't know how to approach this. So why did you play games with her?
Why not just get chatting and then ask her out?
By sitting on your lap and giving you compliments she is clearly letting you know that she likes you.
Good Luck!! xx

dude she fancies you...
just ask her out for a coffee - "hi i enjoyed the time at the ramp party the other day - do you fancy a coffee sometime...?"

She wants you duh!! Whether she wants casual fun or something more, only time will tell. But, if I wanted more than just casual fun I wouldn't start things by sitting in a guy's lap. What sort of a reputation does she have? If she's a bit 'wild' then I'd say it was a come on for some casual fun but you never know with us girls. If you want to pursue it, go ahead...she has given you the green light but how far she wants to take it will be entirely up to her. Also, don't get too disappointed if she turns on you and says she doesn't want more. If you want to give it a go, the worst she could say is no.

Well it that had occurred with me, I would approach that with a come-on and a hard-on.
