I also get uncomfortable and giddy and start fidgeting and hunch over so i look really uncomfortable. Anyway I think he knows i like him because he seems somewhat interested in me??? A long time ago i overheard his friend saying to him " okay, you can go ask her out" and they both looked at me but he never did ask me out and he was smiling so i think they were joking around. But in the class we have i've caught him looking at me and sometimes he doesn't look away. And one time ( this was a while ago too) i was with my friends in the gym and he was with his friends and his friend put ice down this one guys shirt and then i heard him telling his friend to put ice down my shirt, but his friend didn't. But sometimes he avoids looking at me and seems embarrased when he sees me. Does he like me??? or does he just know i like him and is making fun of me??

The truth is, I think he does like you. The staring is a trademark sign of attraction, and it's great you've picked that up - so all I can advise you to do now is monitor his body language around you.
If you have any classes with him, check how he's sitting. If he sits facing you, with his legs apart or leaning towards you, then he's most likely interested.
Also keep a look out for mimicking. If he's looking, change the way you're sitting and see if he copies.
If you have a friend who shares a few classes with him, maybe get them to ask if he likes you and have them report back to you his reaction. Just being that little bit extra aware could reveal some hints.
