How would a relationship be...if the guy i like has ADHD? I mean i didn't even know he had it until he told me that was the reason for him forgetting some stuff. I like him and he says he likes me to, but just wants to get to know me better.

A female reader, xxblueangelxxx United States +, writes (25 February 2011):

xxblueangelxxx agony auntADHD won't change someones feelings about another person. My best friend is actually dating someone with ADHD and their relationship is pretty normal (however he is a little dependent on her but this is because of other aspects of their relationship and I dont think it's linked to ADHD). Also, my sister has ADHD and the only places where its interfered in her life is in school and keeping things organized. He might need reminders for certain things but it really shouldn't affect your relationship much at all.
