A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am 14. A boy that i fancy used to talk to me lots and always got excited if i was going to see him soon, and on msn he always started convosations, wanted me to go on webcam and he would go on webcam, i loved it.

Recently he hasn't been doing that i always start the convosations and because i only see him if i'm round my friends house (he doesn't go to the same school as me,we met through my friend and became best friends)he never really talks to me, In the corner of my eye i sometimes see him looking at me but if he can see him looking at me he'll turn away. I got upset but he didn't find out. And the other day i found out i might have Glandular Fever my friend told him and he kept asking me if i was ok and got worried. But now i found out haven't got it and he's back to not talking to me.

His dad and my friend that best friends with him think that he fancies me but I'm not sure

What could his behavior mean?

He sounds confused. He must care about you tho cause right as soon as he found out you where sick he wanted to make sure you were okay. He might have another girl at his school but can't make up his mind cause he also likes you.

A female reader, Faye Telattraction United Kingdom +, writes (8 February 2009):

Either something has happened that has made him change his behaviour or he is having some of his own problems. Why not try and talk to him as a friend just to check out he is ok. You never know what he will say and its got to be a lot less serious than what is going on in your imagination.
