writes: i fell in love with my best friends girlfriend and i told her on the night of a party that we were all at. My best friend was in her car while we were talking and i told her i was in love with someone that i was afraid to tell and she kept bugging me to tell her and i told her and she looked shocked. she hugged me and told me she had to go. i went home and i had my friend stay with me i couldnt stop crying the next day she came over with another friend of ours and we went to the park we talked and i showed her all the things i wrote about her and she told me that she liked me alot. my best friend found out. i didnt know what to do she seemed fine with it and she told me that she knows that i would never hurt her. i cried. i dont know what to do. we dont talk much anymore. the girl im in love with can barley look at me. im scared im losing my best friend. please help me i have hurt myself thinking this is all my fault. i need help and family dont understand or accept that im gay and in love.

i know its compleate crap when stuff like this happens,but you have to realise its not your fault, you cant help who you fall for (no matter how hard you try) it might be hard for you and them, cause she will be confussed and stuff, and so will you be, and the person your in love with well it might be awkward for her, but i think give them 2 days ish to come around, and if they dont just try and talk about it with them so you understand better, family can just be awkward...and give them time im sure they will get used to it, but just stop thinking its your fault cause you cant help it, i went thre somthing simler so if you want to private email me for someone to just talk to you can, hope this helps
