LazyGuy agony auntTalk to a doctor, there might be a number of reasons for it. It is not uncommon in women (although a bit rarer in one so young) and for some causes there are simple rememedies.

Remember, medical problems are solved by doctors, not agony aunts. It explains the wage difference.

bitterblue agony auntYou should see a urologyst for this problem. You could have a hyperactive bladder, the doctor will be able to help you more, the sooner the treatment is begun, the greater the chances to prevent complications.

A reader, anonymous, writes (11 October 2009):

There is a drug called Tamsulosin Hydrochloride that helps to 'shut the valve' in men who are suffering from urinary incontinence. Maybe it works for women too but the safest thing to do would be to see your doctor.

In the meantime you can buy incontinence pads from your local drugstore which will prevent embarassing situations.

[Moderator's note to the OP: Don't take any medicine without consulting it with your doctor firstly!]
