The 96 year old dude will be in trouble but he want be charged with statutory rape. Don’t really listen to years; most charges would be brought against you in months. What I mean by that is if you 48 months older than her then you’re be put away if not then you’ll pay child support. The best way is to check your local laws. If she pregnant now then you’re in trouble if she put you as the father. If she get state benefits then they can withhold it until she tells whom the father is, if you have deep pockets then she could tell them to go to h___ and walk out. They can’t force her, she’s 16 and she has rights. I know a dude that serve 13 months before he found a law that free him, his case was worst then yours age wise.

It depends which state the pregnant female lives in. Some states say 16 is the minimum and some say 18 is the minimum. If you live in a state that says 18 is the minimum, its also illegal to cross state lines for the purposes of sex with a minor so you cant move to a legal state to legalize the situation.

The ages of consent varies in various states in the USA from 16 to 18.
You can check at this link:-

If the age of consent is 18, you have committed an illegal act or statutory rape even with the parent's consent.

The age of consent differs between states, but generally it's around 16.

PS. the issue isnt if he impregnated her or not, but as long as someone above the sexual age (which in the states is 18 as I heard) has sex with someone below it, it is statutory rape. The punishment falls harder for 26-16 that if its was 18-17.
With or without parents consent I am not sure about but I still think it could be illegal. Otherwise those pedophiles and incest fathers in the world would have committed no crime.
