writes:Hey. Could someone tell me what the chances are of this guy liking me? I’ll try keeping it short.I mainly talk to him online because we’re both shy around each other. I know I am because I like him. He’s hinted that he doesn’t have enough confidence to talk to me in person so we only speak when we’re out. I can’t tell if he genuinely doesn’t want to talk to me or if he’s just nervous around me.The problem is he seems to fancy my best friend. They’re good mates and he’s friends with her boyfriend too but everyone says that he really likes her. He brought this up recently and told me that he didn’t think he’d be a good match for her. He asked if I thought he liked her but then refused to tell me if he did fancy her or not. I presume he does but I don’t get why he brought this up all the sudden.I assume he doesn’t like me and I’m trying to move on but he does these little things which make me wonder. I keep on catching his eye and he keeps on looking my way. He teases me a lot when we do talk and he does jokey things to catch my attention. He laughs a lot when I talk to him and I always laugh too. Then we talk online every day. He always starts the conversation. My best friend also keeps saying these little things. I don’t think she knows I fancy him but when she mentions him she normally winks at me and the other week she told me that he said he’d pull me. I’m probably just being stupid but he’s the only person I’ve ever liked and I’ve liked him for a while now. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 March 2010): I think it's pretty likely that he likes you. Actually, he probably likes both of you. You should just keep flirting with him and see what type of response you get. If you do this, he might realize he has a chance with you and forget about your other friend all together. He might not realize how much he likes you right now. The eye contact and the joking both sound promising. The talking online also sounds promising, especially because he talks to you first. te he, that's how my relationship started.

put it this way, a guy i really liked was like tht with me a couple of months ago.... and now we go out. its possible tht he likes u :) dnt get yr hopes up tho coz i have been wrong before :/
dnt make it obvious tht u like him but give little hints and then just go on from there
