But while I'm thinking maybe you could answer a couple of things for me. How many people are you going to be inviting (approximately)? Is it is going to be a smallish get-together of close friends only or will you be inviting your extended social circle?
What's the age range of the people you're inviting - are they all your contemporaries or are you inviting family as well who may be quite a bit older/younger?
Is it a house party or were you looking to go out somewhere together?
How long have you got to plan all this?
What's the budget? I presume that at 14 your parents will be absorbing most of the cost unless you are asking your friends to contribute?
What are your hobbies? What do you and your closest friends like doing together? What were the last couple of parties you went to like?
