Thats a tuff one
if you seriously believe that there is no way to stay together then end it now and try to work through it!
I once dated a jewish guy and i'm christian and we to had an amazing connection and i met him at work! we dated for about 6 months and we realised that because of our religion that it wasn't going to work, so we decided to end it. I cried for weeks. and the more i cried the less tears i had and the less tears i had the less pain and hurt i had!
Don't end it and try not to hurt because it's not going to happen! we friends now and we still have feelings for each other but we find comfort in the fact that we have our friendship.
It may be easier since you leaving the country soon but don't bottle up your feelings, if you want to cry, cry, cry your heart out! you will feel better afterward! it does get easier I PROMISE!
there is nothing surprising about being in love with him!
It's a normal feeling to love some one! And i garentee that you will love again!
