writes: my girl has never had sex, only with me, she keeps getting utis, she went for ultrasounds bladder tests kidney tests, no result, all she does is take pills and for two weeks we dont have sex,? whats the reason, is it because im uncircumsized, what can it be, she is veryyyy clean as i am, what can it be where we have sex it is clean and my fingers r clean, and its not the condoms cus when we use it its okay and when we dont its okay, happens randomly, please help

 i had this problem a few times when i first started having sex without condoms some i was exactly the same as your girlfriend and my boyfriend wa the only one i had ever had sex with.when you have sex you cause bacteria to enter her, this is nothing to do with how clean you are its the same with everybody. and best thing to so is make sure she goes to the toilet straight away after you've had sex this gets rid of most of the bacteria. sometimes the symptons go on their own after a few days but you should still take something to clear it up or it will just keep comeing back.i found out this the hard way its very uncomfortable for her. but with a bit of luck she should stop getting them after a while. its unlucky for the girls that do get them but spose we cant have everything :) good luck

reader, anonymous, writes (9 May 2006): Sometimes when you have sex with your partner, the friction caused by penetration can irritate the female urethra which is very delicate.This in turn may make it more susceptible to infections.Maybe you could try and use some lubrication before you have sex in order to reduce the friction during intercourse.

 While someone gets used to another person this can happen. By that I mean that once your immune systems are used to each other it will settle. Too much soap and cleaning etc can cause it. A good way of avoiding it is is she pees straight after sex and I mean straight away. It washes out the bladder tube so that any naturally occurring bacteria get washed away before they can travel upward. I know it sounds funny but it is important to always wipe from the front to the back, not the other way around because bugs from the back end once moved forward can easily cause the problem. A glass of cranberry juice every day will also help. Cantharis is a homeopathic remedy which has helped me before. This can be a real pain and I know it!
