Ive been with my boyfriend for nearly a month now and all is going well. Apart from one niggly thing. we have plenty of interests in common, yet when it comes to talking on the phone, we will eventually run out of things to say (after 20-30 mins). i dont find this to be a problem when we meet in person. is this common for new relationships? What can i do to overcome it?

Passthrough agony auntPersonally, 30 min is long enough. Short and sweet is better than long and dragged out- And as a guy, I personally dont enjoy phone conversation as much as my girlfriend does (but I do like it occasionally).

30 minutes on the phone is more than adequate, maybe more often and less time spent would be better. if you love to spend time on the phone he may find it boring after a while-don't push it as its clearly you who craves more phonetime.
