We began to hang out a lot talking for hours late at night. One night we had sex and never talked about it again but continued to be friends and hang out like nothing happened. Then a month later he indicated and I declined fearing that I would begin to care for him differently and/or lose his friendship. Now at separate colleges we continue to talk almost every night and rarely speak of the sex. I want to be more then his friend but how do I tell him now. We will both be home over winter break and I’d like to ask him face to face. Did I ruin my chances by confusing him or was it just awkward summer romance? I feel as if I could tell him anything but I can't figure out how to approach this. Please HelpConfusedFriendthatsagirl Reply to this Question Share |

Wow. Were you a virgin when you had sex with him?? If so you might have more of an attachment to him then if it wasn't your first time. This is like 4 years later if you are both in college now right? If he isn't going out with anyone sure ask him face to face on winter break. You are very close to him, you talk with him everynight so many years later so he must be interested friendly or more. You have liked him for a while so I would go for it other wise you may regret it.
Good Luck.
