writes:I promised my girlfriend at the time when we were still dating, to buy her a ring. We broke up but i still love her and she has feelings for me like that. Right now when I asked about 2 weeks ago, what would she do if I got her the ring? She said she wanted to just hold on to and for her to take her time on deciding. She was silent at first then she started tearing up and smiled at me. I have broken so damn many promises to her in the last 4 years and i dont want to break anymore EVER to her again I promised myself and her that I would and I want to show her that i meant it truly. Comments?

If you wanna get her a ring... "just do it." Even though you broke up with her you still love her right? ( it does not matter what kind of love this is) Do you regret making all those promises and braking them? If you do then you did learn something from it. SO go ahead buy her a ring...a friendship ring, a promise ring, whatever it is...
