He's never done anything inappropriate and I wouldn't want him to but I don't understand why this is happening to me because it scares me. I don't want to think of my dad like this and I don't feel attracted to him at all so what is going on?? :-( Reply to this Question Share |

Sex dreams often happen about people and things we have no attraction to whatsoever. Family members are actually pretty common, however don't get talked about for obvious reasons.
Try to remind yourself that you can't control your dreams and that dreams have nothing to do with how you actually feel in real life.
MSG is just a salt, it gets a bad reputation but is actually totally harmless.

i used to have terribly violent dreams every now and then...they scare the crap out of me!!! i talked to a psychiatrist about them once and she suggested certain chemicals in foods might be the cause...msg i think its called. im not sure if that was behind them but also iv learned that journaling after i woke up helped...stress has alot to do w/dreams.

I don't think there's anything you can do to control your dreams, also I wouldn't worry to much about them, everyone has unpleasant dreams from time to time, it doesn't mean you secretly want these things does it.
