A male United States age 30-35, *SL.11208 writes:

Hey guys, I have been in a relationship for two years now. My girlfriend have been through several ups and downs. Not to sound cocky but I have a thing for pleasing girls who have been hurt in a relationship.

For a true example at school there is this very pretty girl that has caught my eye since orientation day in frshmen year. My girlfriend and I do not attend the same high school. So the girl at school began to talk to me one day at locker time and we were just flirting for some reason. Our friendship progressed rapidly from flirting to giving eachother a kiss on the cheek every day. The next day I took my girl to the movies and the girl from school was there. She smiled at me and waved hi. My girl turned around at to give me a scowl. We watched the movie and the girl was out in the lobby and said bye to me. My girl was bothered by this but she just moved on with it.

The following weekend we went to the movies again and again was the girl from school and I ignored her so she would greet me. At school she was mad and didn't talk to me up untill lunch. At lunch she gave me her phone number. After school we texted each other for hours but she didn't want to talk about the time I ignored her at the movies. I asked her if she wanted to go to the mall and to the movies and I offered to buy her what she wanted which I do to my girlfriend. She said yes but afterwards she replys no iam sorry I can't.I was dissapointed on what she was going to miss out on. I believe she did this because of the time I ignored her.

Also my girl loves me soooooo much and so does her whole family. I have bought her every girl would want from helping her mom with bills to renting her a limo to buying her jewellery. Recently the tremendous love I have for her is begining to wear out. The fact I know it's wearing out hurts me because we were each others first sexual partners. I know if I tell her it's starting to wear out she would be terrified and extrmly sad. I guess the long term relation is wearing it's self out and I don't know what to do. But for the girl at school iam excited about is probably just because we don't know each other.

My question is what should I do to tell my girl I feel our love is wearing out? I know she still loves me the same but even though it's wearing out I know I still want to be with her. For the girl at school I don't know if she likes me as a friend or she only wants to play me or that she doesn't like me at all. I don't know if she rejected our hang out at the mall becaue of the way I ignored her at the movies. I don't know what to do with my girlfriend and what to think about the girl at school.

I am really sorry for this being soooo long but this isn't half of what has happened I just shortened it I would extremly appreciate if you guys could read this and answer my question. Thank you soooo much for those who answered my question!!

omg what total bad luck seeing the hot girl when your with your gf and twice in a row!

i think thats a sign to dump your gf

just tell your gf you need a break and want to see other people

then tell your new wanna be gf trhat you broke up with your gf cause you liked her witch she will absolutely LOVE

then you can secretly get back with your gf after the coast is clear but make sure you dont take her to that theatre anymore
