I realise that it's normal to get a certain amount as it's the bodys way of "cleaning", but I get quite a bit and it's embarrassing, and has meant I feel uncomfortable to the point me and my boyfriend has to schedule our sex so I can prepare. The discharge is white or clear, and I itch a lot there too, which is awkward and uncomfortable.Any info would be appreciated, thanks x

I suggest you go to your GP for a check-up. It could be totally normal discharge but it could also be a sign of thrush or an allergy to sanitary towels (the bleach in those products can play havoc with your skin). Don't be shy, GP's hear about this all the time!

Its really easy to get rid of, and makes total sense that you got it after your peroid. The hormonal changes around your peroid make your body more vulnerable to become unbalanced and develop a yeast overgrowth.
Everyone has had one in their day, theyre annoying and irritating and easy to get rid of! Just go to your local pharmacy and ask for a product to clear it up and youll be back to normal!
Also, eating live yogurt every day, something like Muller Vitality or Activia are really good abd will help you not get another infection.
I hope this helps! :) But please get it sorted, you dont have to be irrtated any more! :)

It makes all of us feel uncomfortable, and it is disgusting, but you can't get rid of it, so you will learn to get used to it. :). But you shouln't worry though. Every woman who has her periods have this. So be Happy! :)
