He might be a guy with goals in his life and knows if he starts a family, he would have to sacrifice what he's aiming for.

Sounds like a wise man to me, and wants to be 'available' for his family when he's ready.

Asking him questions about what he wants for his future will help give you insight.

If you're patient, you could be the winner;)

it is a guy who I like in work, he made this comment to another work colleague, she then told me for some reason although she does NOT know I like him. I find it a strange comment. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is a typical cover story which people come off with instead of saying the relationship isn't going anywhere....?

I can't help that much, but he is either saying that he doesn't want to marry you or that u two might actually not have enough time to make all the wedding plans(it takes a while).Try to talk to him about it;he might give you a good answer, and don't think the worst if he really loves you he will find time to marry you!

I don't know what 'too busy to get married means', surely it takes a day in a registry office and maybe a special holiday afterwards, i just don't get it. Its not like the man says 'I dont believe in marriage', then thats a good enough reason.

Why are people so complicated these days, everything is so uncertain...
